How to Use This Screener
A quick tour of what's here โ everything below works for any visitor, no account needed, unless a section says otherwise.
Each week, a fresh CSV of stock data gets imported and scored against a weighted value model. Use the week selector in the top-right corner of the dashboard to switch between every week that's been imported โ everything on the page updates to reflect whichever week is selected.
๐ Rankings Tab
The default view when you land on the dashboard.
- Top 5 cards: the five highest-scoring stocks for the selected week, showing the value score, Morningstar upside (fair value vs. current price), and key stats like % below 52-week high, ROIC, net margin, and debt/equity.
- Hover for explanations: hover over any metric name โ in the cards or in a table column header โ for a plain-English description of what it measures and how to read it.
- Full Ranked List table: click any column header to sort by that metric; a gold arrow marks which column is currently sorted and in which direction. Click the same header again to reverse the direction.
- Drag-to-reorder columns: drag a column header left or right to rearrange the table. "โบ Reset Columns" restores the default order.
- Show Top N: the "Show" dropdown limits the Full Ranked List to the top 10/20/50/100/500 stocks by score.
- ๐ Try your own weights: click the toggle in the tab bar to reveal weight sliders and see the rankings recompute instantly โ entirely in your browser, nothing is saved or sent to the server, and no one else sees your changes. "โบ Reset to default" reverts to the site's current weights.
- Export: "Download XLSX" and "Download CSV" export the currently ranked list for the selected week.
๐ All Stocks Tab
The same sortable, drag-to-reorder table as the Rankings tab's Full Ranked List, except it shows every stock imported for that week โ not just the top results.
๐ History Tab
A week-over-week comparison: each imported week gets its own column showing that week's top 5 picks side-by-side, so you can see how the rankings shifted from one week to the next.
๐ Admin-Only Actions
Importing a new week's CSV, changing the site's actual scoring weights (as opposed to previewing your own), fetching Free Cash Flow data from SEC EDGAR, and deleting a week's data all require logging in as admin. If you're not logged in, you won't see the Import CSV or Weights tabs at all, and admin-only buttons will simply return an error if clicked.
